As a fan of totally Independent Media, I love Crikey. It is honestly one of Australia's best and given its small staff, is doing some great stuff. Reminds me a bit of ProPublica in the US and which has won dozens of Pulitzers. Just goes to show a small team of good journos is worth much more than a large team of crap ones... I digress... Anyway, so I just received the afternoon newsletter from Crikey, and it's full of interesting stories. (See below link) Here's a sample, and I quote from the Editor's letter: "Peter Dutton is racist. There, we said it. Today Bernard Keane argues that while both sides of politics have exploited racism over the past 50 years, the opposition leader is unusual among the recent generation of politicians in displaying overt racism. In this special edition, we outline more than a dozen instances of Dutton making remarks that engage in race-baiting, or the exploitation of race-adjacent issues, since 2008. But crucially there are three specific sets of remarks that suggest that for Dutton, racism isn't merely a political tool but a personal belief he thinks is relevant to public policy. Kicking off today, Crikey's series explores both Dutton's history of racism and the role racism has played on both sides of politics since the 1970s. Because sometimes it's important to state the obvious. Thanks, as always, for supporting independent media." As soon as I get paid, I think I am going to re-subscribe to this brilliant paper. I Love ❤️ the fact that they don't care if they upset the LNP...courageous given the sort of party the head-kicking, raping, intimidating Misogynistic Boys Club they are. Allegedly. Throw in a few (alleged) drunks for good measure, who if they were anyone else in any other party would have been forced to resign. I'm sorry for letting personal feelings get in my way here...Anyway, if you can afford it subscribe to Crikey, you won't be sorry. https://www.crikey.com.au/ #Crikey #Dutton #Racist #Racism #Independent #MEAA #Media

In a stunning turn of events, the right-wing political establishment has announced a groundbreaking initiative: adopting truth in politics. In a press conference held at a luxury hotel, surrounded by corporate sponsors and lobbyists, party leaders unveiled their bold new approach to governance. "We've decided to come clean," declared the party spokesperson, sporting a tailored suit and a perfectly coiffed hairstyle. "From now on, we're going to be honest about our priorities: preserving power structures and maximizing profits at all costs." The announcement sent shockwaves through the political landscape, as pundits and commentators struggled to process the implications of such radical transparency. But for many observers, it was simply a confirmation of what they had suspected all along. "We've always known that the right was primarily concerned with maintaining the status quo and serving the interests of the wealthy elite," remarked one political analyst, shaking their head in disbelief. "But to hear them admit it so brazenly is truly astonishing." In a series of televised interviews, right-wing politicians doubled down on their commitment to truth-telling, eagerly confessing to their past misdeeds and Machiavellian tactics. "We've been playing the game of politics for decades, pulling the strings behind the scenes to ensure that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer," admitted one prominent lawmaker, a gleam of satisfaction in their eyes. "But hey, at least we're being honest about it now!" Meanwhile, environmental activists and social justice advocates rejoiced at the prospect of finally holding the right accountable for their destructive policies and callous disregard for human suffering. "It's about time they owned up to their role in perpetuating inequality and exploiting our planet for profit," exclaimed one impassioned activist, waving a banner emblazoned with slogans decrying corporate greed. As the dust settled and the shockwaves subsided, one question lingered in the minds of many observers: Would the right's newfound commitment to truth in politics lead to meaningful change, or was it merely a cynical ploy to salvage their tarnished reputation? Only time would tell, but one thing was certain: In a world where truth is often in short supply, the right's admission of guilt was a welcome—and long overdue—development.

ALP are not about the people, the planet or non violence. LNP has an horrendous track record in human rights abuse and environmental pillage. Every vote you make matters. Local governments, state governments, federally. When you cast a vote for parties who choose to harm you are complicit in the harm. We need Australian Progressives The Australian Greens Teals and other Independents with integrity. The only pathway to change is through a real democracy. We need to reimagine every system guided by First Nations wisdom. Together we can transform this country and the world to a place where peace and nonviolence is the norm. https://lnkd.in/ggqKYC8j

Allyship is action. Reconciliation is actively doing something that makes a difference, in partnership not just because you think it’s a good idea in isolation. Justice is standing up and doing what is right. Good intentions without genuine commitment and action to rectify what is wrong contributes to the problem. Standing back and doing nothing while communities and people hurt and cry out for help is why we haven’t moved forward to Close the Gap. Keep the Fire Burning is about a legacy. Not hollow words or a t-shirt so that people can feel like they’ve done something when they’ve stood back when they had the chance and often power to act. Keep the Fire Burning is about the future. We can’t do it alone. We need true allies to work with us, walk with us, stand with us. But if there isn’t real change, real action, then will the future be that much different to the past or the present?

Very Important - you should read the entire article - we need to recruit millions of people that are too busy working and paying their bills to see what the "Controligarchs" are doing to us. "Who are the World’s Elite Organizations? They are every important organization – those with great influence (and police-state powers) – including all governmental agencies and departments as well as international government organizations like the UN, WHO, and European Union." "They are also all the major “crony” corporations that benefit from close ties to government and non-governmental organizations." "Plus, foundations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, and the Rockefeller Foundation, which have more money than many nations and certainly more ideological commitment to deploy their resources to implement their agendas." "In the last four years, any organization that vociferously supported all the Covid protocols would be examples of “captured” organizations that enthusiastically supported the Current Thing." "But these same organizations also support all the other ascendant political movements, such as the fight against (allegedly) man-made Climate Change, numerous wars or “interventions” to advance “democracy,” central bank digital currency, and ever more mRNA “vaccines.” " "Furthermore, it’s obvious these same organizations support initiatives designed to discredit long-accepted cultural norms in favor of more “progressive” thinking that normalizes gender reversal, race grievances, LGBT+ initiatives, or any reform that advances “diversity, inclusion, or equity.” "The good news is our side – those who still believe in human liberty – vastly outnumbers the group that is clearly aligned against us." "The bad news is the the enemies of freedom – the worshippers of Big Brother – control all of the institutions and organizations in the world that actually matter." "Still, the committed generals and staff officers who are seeking even more global control of the masses are…greatly outnumbered by people who are repulsed by their programs." "My estimate is there must be tens of millions of people who think like I do, people who would like to stop all the goals of the WEF, Davos, and WHO crowd." "Substack has more than 35 million subscribers, probably 20 percent of whom are searching for content they know they won’t find in, say, the New York Times or CBS News. That would be a “market” of 7 million freedom-supporting citizens." "To help keep this middle group indifferent or on their side, the Deep State concocted the concepts of disinformation and misinformation to smear or throttle the influence of those on our side." "If and when the masses realize who’s been producing the real disinformation, freedom might pull an upset victory."
On one side, we have the 200,000 or so leaders of thousands of important captured organizations. On the other side, we have 10 to 20 million citizens who’ve found each other in the alternative media. ~Bill Rice The Numbers Favor Our Side https://lnkd.in/eDYsDMuU

AMERICA IS NOT PERFECT, BUT WHAT COUNTRY IS? Here's something to think about: in recent years, the political landscape in America has been marked by deep divisions and intense emotions. The polarization between different political ideologies has reached a point where even the most tragic events are viewed through a partisan lens. This has become starkly evident in the reactions to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. The fact that some citizens are rejoicing over such a grave act is a troubling indicator of the times we are living in. And while I, myself, has been out spoken about our country, the United States has always prided itself on being a bastion of democracy, where diverse opinions can coexist at times, peacefully. And while it's not, it has something very familiar with all of us. It's still home. However, the political climate today suggests otherwise. The intense animosity between opposing sides has created an environment where partisan hatred often overshadows empathy and basic human decency. The attempted assassination of any political figure, regardless of their party affiliation, should be a moment for national reflection, unity, and prayer. Instead, it has become a catalyst for further division. President Trump or any other president is not responsible for the living situation you're in, you are. If America was a cat and we're using the metaphor from the fable "Belling the Cat," where belling the cat represents a daunting task that's talked about but difficult to achieve, then the question "Who will bell the cat?" could be interpreted in several ways depending on the context. 1. **Politically**, it might mean who will take on the challenging task of addressing major issues within the country that many talk about but few have the courage or means to actually tackle. This could refer to politicians, activists, or ordinary citizens who step up to make a change. 2. **Economically**, it could imply who will manage or regulate the powerful economic forces and large corporations in America, ensuring they serve the wider interest of the public. 3. **Internationally**, it might ask who can effectively manage or influence the United States in its role as a global superpower, balancing its interests with global peace, security, and cooperation. 4. **Socially and culturally**, it could refer to who will lead the charge in tackling deep-rooted issues like inequality, racism, and cultural division. In any scenario, "belling the cat" is about taking on a significant challenge that requires bravery, strategy, and collaboration. It's not about a single "who," but rather a collective effort from individuals, communities, organizations, and governments. #governance #humansurvival #humanityfirst

SURVIVAL OF AMERICA There are only 2 possible outcomes for America in the upcoming 2024 election i.e. (1) SAVING America (Trump), DESTROYING America (kamala) 1. Trump wins and saves America by finishing his project to 'drain the swamp' consisting of whom..?? well, listen to one of the best explanations ever produced (by Joe M) N.B. By now, you must be wondering why Trump has been attacked with lies EVERY DAY for 9 years in the way no one in history ever has https://lnkd.in/dGzZjX7J ----- 2. jammy commie kammy wins and.... you soon realise you were lied to as she completes the project to destroy America the biggest and most obvious factor is 30 million ignorant, desperate, uneducated, military aged men, and useless woman and children being paid over usd$1 Trillion of US taxpayer money to illegally enter America and vote for jammy commie kammy so she can finish the project of destroying America started by barry soetoro (aka barack obama) and planned over 300 years ago. The single greatest skill of dumbocrats is to tell lies using adolph hitler's tactics of causing people to believe lies by repeating lies loud enough & long enough. No one can list even one action taken by any dumbocrat -- since the party was started in 1832 -- that help even one American. Why? Because the raison d'etre of the party, from the start, was to destroy America.
