One of the most prominent global observances on June 5th is World Environment Day. Established by the United Nations in 1972, World Environment Day is celebrated annually to encourage worldwide awareness and action for the protection of the environment. Each year, the event is hosted by a different country and has a specific theme to address pressing environmental issues. Today being WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY, a global call to action to raise awareness about the environmental challenges we face and inspire positive change. Corp members of the Environmental CDS group in conjunction with NESREA and Tripple Green Environmental Development Foundation (TGEDFoundation) took a walk around the oke-isha market Ado-ekiti to Sensitize the good people of the land on the need of preserving and conserving our environment from loss, harm and decay. the phrase "to every action there's an equal and opposite reaction" in this context, describes the relationship between two forces ( man and his Environment)which they exert on each other when they interact. It is with individual responsibility and Community actions that we can advocate for productive ecosystems and guarantee that a Greener World is possible.
