Immersive innovation like VR, AR and MR has unshered in a new era of innovation and disruption across various industries. Immersive technologies refer to technologies such as VR, AR and MR that create immersive, interactive experiences by blending digital content with the real world.

Yes, the Spacetop G1 AR laptop does exist. It is a real product developed by a startup company called Sightful. Sightful (formerly known as Multinarity) has raised a total of around $61 million in funding as of 2024. In September 2022, Sightful raised $18 million in a Series A funding round led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Norwest Venture Partners and Tiger Global. This brought their total funding at that time to $24 million. In May 2023, when Sightful debuted their Augmented Reality (AR) laptop called Spacetop, they announced raising an additional $33 million in funding, following a $28 million seed round the previous year. Sightful's total funding amounts to approximately $61 million as of 2024, though I can’t find any information about friends and family rounds or early equity distribution. It’s real. But, whatcha think? Dell likes it. The Michael Dell family office and Dell Capital don’t generally mess around. Norwest, Tiger, and Dell have historically chased winners quite well.
