We all have heard of the sixth man, especially when it comes to the game of basketball. But the sixth man can be in other sports or work, etc. Yes, that person wasn’t part of the starting five. When one of them gets into foul trouble, injured, tired or having a bad game that sixth man can come into the game and keep the team going. I have seen where basketball games where the sixth man became the high scorer or shot the game winning shot. Yea, he didn’t start and he practiced just as much if not more, with the original five. So we need to practice and work just as hard, because one day the coach, boss, teacher will notice and decide to put you in the game. Now, we all know even the greatest athletes still have bad games, we all do. But we won’t know until we get off the bench when the coach calls us. But we all have heard, a bad game is good practice for the next game that we will win. So be proud to be the sixth man!
