The latest global study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of SoftServe unveiled the readiness of organizations to leverage Generative AI. Despite the availability of numerous Gen AI products and services, only 22% of businesses effectively use them.   Why isn't Gen AI delivering the expected value for many organizations? Most have the technology and infrastructure in place, but gaps in data readiness, governance, and technical skills often hinder progress. Our own conversations with customers reveal a similar dynamic: tons of enthusiasm for the potential impact of Gen AI, but considerable hesitancy around safety risks, technical complexity, what kind of Gen AI project would realistically support business goals, and what steps to take to get started.   To put it simply, Gen AI is a work in progress.   Our Generative AI Lab at SoftServe supports organizations' R&D efforts in various AI applications. The Generative AI Lab uses tools and technology platforms in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and NVIDIA. One of our roles is to help our clients stay on top of how Gen AI is changing and adopt best practices across industries.
