During this year’s #railroadsafetyweek, remember that trains are faster and quieter than you think. If you see a train approaching, keep in mind that trains cannot stop quickly. The average freight train takes the equivalent of 18 football fields to come to a complete stop. If a train hits your vehicle, the weight ratio between your car and the train is the equivalent to a car coming in contact with a soda can; your car is the soda can. #seetracksthinktrainweek. #railsafetyeducation
