Effective marketing and communications are about adapting to your audience, and I recently came across a brilliant TikTok from the University of Leeds that perfectly captured how to connect with younger audiences. They had a Boomer give a tour of the campus, but the twist? He used Gen Z speak throughout the video and 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥! The comments were full of prospective students saying they now want to apply—proof that when done right, even the most unexpected strategies can work. The university truly 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 when it came to engaging Gen Z. Check out the video below and add a comment on what you think about using trends like this to reach younger audiences. 😅
