As we explore the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, it's exciting to see how it can enhance our understanding of ethics and morality. AI offers us the opportunity to analyze complex ethical dilemmas and make more informed decisions and may lead to fairer and more equitable outcomes. Can AI change the traditional principles and framework of Morality and Ethics? As we may see use of data from different human brains to generate new products/solutions. This may lead to recognise “Collaborative Efforts” rather than “Individual Innovation” and can further endorse open-source data & AI analytics as “valid contributions” for innovation. #AI #Ethics #Morality #Technology #PositiveImpact

This week, I had the privilege of attending an insightful AI event at Old Bailey in the City of London. A particularly notable discussion centered on a provocative question … should it be a fundamental human right to request that certain decisions be made solely by humans, not AI? The Sheriff also shared a fascinating anecdote about the historic Penn and Mead case, illustrating the complexities of ethical decision-making and the evolving nature of justice. It was a stark reminder of how difficult it is to codify such nuanced reasoning into law—let alone embed it into AI systems. The conversations highlighted the immense challenges of ensuring AI can navigate these grey areas responsibly. Can AI ever truly handle such decisions? Or must some choices remain inherently human? Food for thought for anyone involved in shaping the future of AI and ethics. #AI #Ethics #RiskManagement
