The award for continuity and strategic project development and the awarded initiative EMPOWERING AML WITH THE BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP REGISTER was awarded to the Central Registry for the implementation of the Beneficial ownership registry at the annual ministerial conference of the Regional School of Public Administration at the HIGH-LEVEL POLICY DIALOGUE - Ministerial Session and Public Administration Award 2024 ceremony “Next-Gen Governance: Driving Public Service Innovation in the Western Balkans” Congratulations to the project manager of the project, M.Sc Marijana Naumovska, and to the entire team that worked on the project, and gratitude to RESPA for recognizing the initiative and the project as a modern solution, implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering Directives, which serves both the public and the Government's investigative bodies in financial investigations, i.e. a modern tool for promoting transparency and standardization, encouraging regional countries to implement mechanisms to combat money laundering, as an example for the region and the world. The initiative was assessed from several aspects: Goals, Results and Impact, Users, Delivery / Implementation, and the Project was initiated based on the work of a multidisciplinary working group composed of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Central Registry and the Financial Intelligence Agency.
