The Dumarey Group was formed about a year ago but its history is much older. It was born behind the drive of Guido #Dumarey, founder and current president, who made his first acquisition in 1983: a small Belgian company specializing in metal punching. Organized into several business units, the Group collaborates and shares its know-how to meet various customer needs and demands, from powertrains to transmissions and integrated software. Given the amount of information it handles, the high number of employees, and the high technological profile, the company has chosen to focus on #informationsecurity. George Tannenbaum sums up what I ranted about on a couple of groups succinctly. Content marketers and writers often face the challenge of responding to an unreasonable demand for a "test assignment" that amounts to you writing an article for an outlet and not getting paid for it. But what's even sneakier is asking for something that is considered much more valuable in marketing -- a customized strategy for a business. I confess that I've made the mistake of falling for this and so was forced to learn the hard way. I now nip it in the bud. This is how the scenario typically plays out: A business owner one is connected to on LinkedIn or who connects to you, sometimes citing a mutual friend or business you've worked for, sends a nice message and asks for a call. In the course of the call, they talk about their business and their marketing/content challenges. Sometimes they'll go one for a couple of hours and conclude by asking for you proposal. Writing up that proposal takes another 45 minutes, sometimes longer if it includes a plan to overhaul a whole site, as well. You want to show you understand what they need and give them a plan you will get paid to execute, so you put in that time. When they get your proposal, they suddenly remember that they have no money to spare for marketing at all. Were they truly expecting you to do this work for free? Maybe not, but they did manage to manipulate you into give them a tailored strategy for which other consultants would have charged them thousands of dollars. Now here's the reason why all of us have to refuse to play with this unreasonable demand. You don't go to a party planner and demand a plan for your party without paying for the services. You don't go to an architect and demand drawings tailored to your needs without paying for the person's time and skill. You don't get to book a free consultation with a psychologist as a test without paying for that session. Marketers are also professionals who draw on their skills and experience and should be compensated for their time accordingly.

A case study in Nepal; Due to the local level, Women empowering & producing the soap directly affects the sales of Multinational Soap Products. Companies invest huge amounts of money in media & they communicate that local soap products contain fat/ BOSO. In the communication graphics and visuals, they haven't included any company logo and information but only a big size of flesh. They play the game with religious beliefs in the Nepali community. In that time they are organizing pitches for different agencies. I represent the Nepal Wheel Media & visited the company. They asked us how they could navigate the case. Due to their actions, there is too much noise in the market but they are divided. We suggest; Local level products are selling in the market without packing; You people can claim that "products selling without packing is illegal. Then, the Nepal government brought the law & tightened the selling of soap without packing. Now, Local producers are forced to do the packing & due to packing costs, they have to increase the selling price of the soap. As a result, local products are unable to do the completion of with multinational products. Therefore, multinational companies are OK & not disturbing the so-called society. Hence, what is the achievement of the Nepal Wheel Media & SURESH/Yug - P. ... It's the middle finger... Our country's media & government are nothing for them, who the hell we are to do blah blah with them? We find the peace within us & move on to the work. Executive Summary; Organizations organize pitches for data generation. Creative Advertising agency must work for a local community business. I love to present local-level products & services & make them competitors of the ruling ones. Ours' research shows that Blah Blah's multinational products/services are directly proportional to local consumers. There will be a great threat when we can bring local industries to function through a better communication campaign with local media mostly Outdoor CSR. Every advertising agency must capture the localized market more than the global.

Rarely is change completely comfortable or universally embraced. Jaguar has a solid design / performance brand, but they have a netoriously bad repair reputation that is nearly welded to their brand as well. Changing the branding is worthless unless they change the brand. They need to make reliability the core of the new branding or anything they do going forward is worthless or worse. It’s a start; let’s wait to see if they fulfill the promise.
