Thinking about migrating to AWS? Let's talk cloud models! Choosing the right path – IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS – can make all the difference in your cloud journey. Need ultimate control? IaaS (like EC2) is your playground. Build and manage your infrastructure from the ground up. Want to speed up development? PaaS (like Elastic Beanstalk) handles the heavy lifting so that you can focus on coding. Would you be able to find a hassle-free solution? SaaS (like WorkSpaces) offers pre-built software, ready to use. Which path will you choose? Share your thoughts in the comments! #AWS #cloudmigration #Iaas #PaaS #SaaS #cloudcomputing #devops #IT

I earned my Cloud Computing badge from IBM this week! I know that cloud adoption is growing at an exponential rate and I want to be part of the conversation! What I wasn't expecting through this course is the excitement I found for microservice technologies and hybrid cloud model adoption. I'll be continuing my education exploring data engineering, architecture solutions and project management. If you're talking cloud computing - consider me down to join the conversation! Through this course, I learned the basics of cloud technology and gained the ability to describe cloud platforms and models including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and public, private and hybrid multiclouds. I am now familiar with essentials of cloud applications and terms like Virtualization, VMs, Containers, Object Storage, Microservices, Serverless, Cloud Native, and DevOps. I have also gained hands-on experience at creating a cloud account and provisioning services on IBM Cloud. #cloudcomputing #cloud #IBM #multicloud #hybridcloud #cloudadoption #cloudsecurity #virtualization #microservices #containers #VirtualMachines #IaaS #SaaS #PaaS

My cloud computing journey continues, and today I explored some of the core concepts that are shaping the future of technology: Cloud Service Models: IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) PaaS (Platform as a Service) SaaS (Software as a Service) Deployment Models: Public Cloud Private Cloud Hybrid Cloud Community Cloud I also took a deep dive into more advanced topics like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and the different types of Hybrid Clouds—from Hybrid Monocloud to Hybrid Multicloud and Composite Multicloud. As a bonus, I received a feature code from IBM x Skill Network and set up a free 6-month trial account on IBM Cloud! I'm excited to explore the practical side of cloud computing, including topics like virtualization, VMs, containers, cloud storage, microservices, serverless computing, DevOps on the cloud, cloud security, and cloud encryption. My goal is to deploy a fully functional application on the cloud as my final assessment. I’m eager to hear from my fellow cloud enthusiasts—how did you approach these topics when you were starting out? Any tips or insights you'd like to share? #CloudComputing #IaaS #PaaS #SaaS #DevOps #IBMCloud #LearningJourney #TechForGood #CareerGrowth
