After 3 amazing years leading engineering teams at Databricks, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined NexHealth as their Head of Engineering. I fell in love with NexHealth’s mission to accelerate innovation in healthcare. Fixing healthcare is the challenge of our generation. This industry is stuck in the 1990s while affordability and accessibility are spiraling out of control. We currently spend ~20% of GDP on healthcare, while the 25% of the world's data is stuck on legacy and antiquated health systems. NexHealth’s goal is to create an open and modern ecosystem to accelerate innovation in the space. We will make it easier for everybody to build in healthcare, and ultimately empower ordinary people with access to more modern, efficient and affordable healthcare solutions. I’m incredibly impressed by what the NexHealth team has accomplished so far—the foundation they’ve built is remarkable. But what excites me most is the vision and journey ahead. One of my top priorities is to rapidly expand our teams by hiring strong engineers and leaders to accelerate the company’s growth. More on this later.
