With the continuous growth in the international education sector, the responsibilities of service providers and registration agencies have expanded to offer faster, more accurate, and transparent services. However, students face difficulties in making informed choices and obtaining accurate information, often encountering a convoluted and random registration process. This becomes even more challenging with traditional solutions and work mechanisms. During the market study phase, we identified a significant gap in this sector: students and registration agencies face various challenges, whether it's the complexities of the registration process, continuous updates, or a lack of information, which sometimes leads to unavoidable errors. Edmov has provided a technological solution that keeps pace with market growth to facilitate the process and create a unique experience for studying abroad, from thorough research for document verification to completing the registration and enrollment process at the university. It also offers a practical model for both students and registration agencies that helps them easily track and manage applications. Edmov’s solutions enable students to reach their dream destinations easily and allow study agencies to provide better services in less time. Edmov is more than just a tool , it’s a step toward the future where studying abroad is easier, smarter, and accessible to everyone. #InternationalEducation #StudyAbroad #EdTech #TechForEducation #DigitalTransformation #GlobalEducation #Edmov

The journey of MBS alum Susana Asencios from Peru to the Prospanica 2024 Conference is truly inspiring. As a first-generation college student and professional, Susana exemplifies how access to education and professional networks can transform career trajectories in the life sciences. Her story reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive pathways in biotechnology and healthcare leadership. Repost from Susana Asencios Breaking Glass Ceilings at Prospanica 2024: Grateful for New Aspirations and Opportunities I’ve been reflecting on why, in the past, I didn’t aspire to the roles I’m aiming for now or in the types of companies I’m currently interested in. Growing up in Peru, no one in my family or close environment had roles like these, nor did they understand fields like genetics or biotechnology when I first pursued a career in science and diagnostics. This path was new for me and those around me, making it challenging to find guidance within my immediate circle. The opportunities I had to meet people who encouraged me along the way were instrumental in shaping my journey. Now, I see that I’ve been breaking glass ceilings—being the first in my family to attend university, the first scientist, the first to learn English, and the first to pursue a master’s degree in the U.S. In recent years, opportunities through Keck Graduate Institute, the CAPS program, and Prospanica have introduced me to a wide range of professionals, whose insights have helped me clarify my aspirations and the paths I want to explore. This is why I value events like the Prospanica Conference and Career Expo in Orlando, where I learn so much from connecting with students and professionals alike. I’m deeply grateful for this experience. #LifeSciences #WomenInSTEM #FirstGen #HigherEducation #KGIAlumni

Recently, I had the privilege of conducting a campus drive across various institutes, and what an eye-opening experience it was! Engaging with Gen Z students and their professors was nothing short of inspiring. From discussions about how institutes are keeping up with industry trends, adapting curriculums, and encouraging students to dive into corporate projects, to their sheer enthusiasm for learning — every moment was a learning experience for me! The IP industry — while still a bit of a mystery to many — became a fascinating topic of conversation. Once we introduced its scope, the students amazed us with their innovative ideas and thought-provoking questions. It made me wonder, if they can think like this now, what else are these brilliant minds capable of? 🌟 To my fellow Naruto fans (yes, I am one 🙋♀️): these students reminded me so much of Naruto Uzumaki. Their energy, their drive to push boundaries, their eagerness to learn, and most importantly, their never-give-up attitude… it was like watching a village full of Narutos in action! 🌌 Each one has a unique story, struggles to overcome, and lessons to teach — just like every character in Naruto. 💡 Takeaway: We as professionals have so much to catch up on if we want to stay relevant and continue to inspire such bright minds. And for the IP industry, it’s clear we need to do more to spread awareness and tap into this pool of untapped potential. A huge shoutout to my amazing team for their unwavering support through this journey. 🙌 Ankita Kapruwan Sohan Panday Shreeansh Singh Sheetal Sharma Special thanks to Bhasker Sharma for your valuable insights — they truly made a difference. 💬 Here’s to more engaging discussions, growth, and maybe even discovering the next “Hokage” of the IP world! 😉 #CampusDrive #LearningFromGenZ #IPAwareness #NarutoFan #NeverGiveUp #Teamwork #Innovation #PatentsKart

🎓 A journey of First-Generation Student & Professional 🌟 ☀️Buenos Dias Mi Gente☀️ Today, as I got my cafesito ready and used my TRIO mug, I couldn't help but to think about how blessed I've been to be a TRIO alum and to continue to get to work with TRIO as a professional. 🎓💼 While each of us in unique in our own experience, organizations like TRIO help bring us together and support one another. Being a first-generation student means often times having to pave your own way. It's about breaking barriers and defying expectations. It's about embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, rather than obstacles. 👩🎓 Through countless late nights of studying, navigating unfamiliar territories of academia, and facing financial constraints, I learned invaluable lessons about perseverance and the power of resilience. Every setback was a chance to learn and every achievement a testament to my hard work and dedication. 💻 Transitioning from student to first-gen professional brought its own set of challenges. Navigating the job market, networking, and establishing myself in my chosen field required patience, perseverance, and a willingness to step out of my comfort zone. But with each milestone reached, I am reminded of why I do the work I do. My journey is not just about me; it's about breaking down barriers for future generations and inspiring others to pursue their dreams, no matter how daunting they may seem. So, to all my fellow first-generation students and professionals out there, remember this: your background does not determine your future. Embrace your journey, celebrate your achievements, and never forget the incredible strength that lies within you. Together, we can defy expectations and pave the way for a brighter future. 💪 Also, peep the shirt from North Carolina Central University ❤️ hands down, still one of the best institutions I've been to. #FirstGen #FirstGenProfessional #Latina #LatinainSTEM #LatinaswithMasters #TRIO #TRIOWorks #firstgenish

📣📣📣 Our latest publication, as a result of joint work carried out with Federico Schimperna and Maria Elisa Schimperna, aims to propose a framework to increase the survivability of research spin-offs, overcoming their main challenges. Our framework relies on the application of “ambidextrous intellectual capital” to spin-offs, considered a valuable solution as it combines attention to the future, typical of spin-offs and start-ups, with attention to the present, essential to move beyond the pre-seed phase. 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚: 𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌 What an amazing session with Dr. Praveen Vijhani, other attendings and residents from DHR Health. This unique event felt like being empowered with time-traveling abilities and you're getting a sneak peek into what life might look like after matching into a residency program. It's not all about gold and glitter contrary to the popular IMG belief. Residents shared a realistic picture of their lives. The hardships they face, the criticisms, early morning calls or homesickness. Despite all these, residents agreed on a common term calling this journey 'transformative'. Residency transforms you from a naive medical student to a competent physician ready to face the real world. This session also helped us to debunk many myths that IMGs have or I should say that have been implanted in the minds of IMGs by strategists and agencies. Some of these were regarding •Rising trend of Meta-analysis and having an absurd number of publications. •Chasing institutes with brand value rather than prioritizing the quality of LOR. •Hands-on USCE being portrayed as superior to something like an observership. I am so grateful for this wonderful opportunity and I would like to thank Dr. Praveen Vijhani, Neeti Reddy, Jathniel Panneflek and everyone who took time from their busy schedule to guide us. #usmle #imgs #USCE #residency #MATCH2025 #internalmedicine #usmlestep1 #usmlestep2 #ECFMG #ERAS #NRMP #interview #MATCH2026

Learn about Sumitomo Corporation's Social Contribution Activity Program. To commemorate its 100th anniversary, #SumitomoCorporation launched the "#100SEED" social contribution program to nurture the talent that will support the next 100 years. As part of this program, "Mirai School," which focuses on #SDGs Goal 4: Quality Education, has company employees visit high schools and junior high schools nationwide to share their experiences and perspectives on work directly with students. "Mirai" is a Japanese word that encapsulates the idea of a bright #future. It carries the message that we hope you will think independently, develop the skills necessary for social independence, and challenge yourself without limiting your potential. ―For junior high and high school students who will shape the future, we offer time to think about their careers. Mirai School provides an opportunity for the #nextgeneration, to think about their own future and careers. As Sumitomo Corporation employees with extensive experience in the global business unique to integrated trading and business investment companies, we'll reflect on our career journeys from our student days until now. We'll share our honest thoughts about work, challenges, and rewards. Additionally, we'll discuss the qualities necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world and the significance of crafting one's own #careerpath. ―It serves as a learning opportunity for us as well. This project has offered valuable learning opportunities to both students and ourselves. Engaging with younger generations has inspired us to reconsider "what we should be" in the future. The number of applicants to Mirai School is increasing year by year, and we are receiving many requests from our team members who wish to participate as instructors. Through this program, Sumitomo Corporation will continue to contribute to the development of the next generation as a member of society.
