According to Psychologists Morgan and King, the human brain is estimated to contain at least 150 billion nerve cells or neurons. Each of these cells is connected to many others, making the number of connections immense! Do we still need to fear AI? Can AI ever beat a normal human brain with immense possibilities and potential? 🧠 #FAUresearchers Dr. Patrick Krauss and Dr. Achim Schilling are working on decoding the mysteries of the human #mind, and have now published their latest insights in the journal #NeuroImage. Krauss and Schilling have used #AI to underline the widely held hypothesis of #PredictiveCoding - our brain's process of predicting at all time what may happen next. I have the following questions regarding current AI implementations, 1. Why all current Neural network implementations/chips are digital and not analog circuits as we have in the brain? 2. Why every layer of the neuron is connected to every neuron in the next layer? In the brain, at the max, a neuron is connected to 10,000 other neurons. Whereas in the current AI implementations two layers of 1000 neurons each will have n^2 i.e 1000*1000=10,00,000 3. The brain has regions of competencies, these regions are interconnected, and that is what gives the brain diverse capabilities. Has anyone tried training multiple NN models with different capabilities and connecting them with another NN model? #AI #AnalogAI #Neuralnetworks #Brain
