Being a municipal executive isn't easy. There are days where nothing seems to go right, stress creeping in from every single direction, the late nights from meetings/budget prep/daily operations/etc., to even the pressure we put on ourselves as professionals to perform for our residents and city council. I was re-watching my interview from the other day and then my office phone rang, I paused the video, and this was the image that was on my computer when I returned. This image made me take a step back and appreciate the fun in my job. Is being a City Administrator difficult? Yes. Are the job responsibilities stressful? Yes. But ya know what...our jobs can also be fun and we can enjoy ourselves along the way too! Too often, I see public managers have their "City Manager" face on 24/7. Can we normalize public sector executives (and other government leaders) as people, who can have fun/laugh too? #publicsector #publicmanagement #citymanager #cityadministrator

Consider living close to your workplace or near a Metro station to save time and reduce stress. Public transport is reliable and widely used. **✔️ Explore the Neighbourhoods:** Each area in DC has its own vibe. Whether you prefer the historic charm of Georgetown or the modern feel of Navy Yard, there's something for everyone. Visit different neighbourhoods to find your perfect fit. **✔️ Legal and Professional Requirements:** Ensure your qualifications are recognised in the US. 🚀 Florida Leads the Nation in Employer Migration 🌴 Florida continues to shine as the ultimate destination for businesses seeking opportunity. According to Lisa McNatt of CoStar Analytics, more companies migrated to Florida in 2023 than to all four of the next top states combined! 😯 With 623 net employer relocations—triple that of runner-up Texas—our state is solidifying its reputation as a business-friendly hub with no state income tax and an unparalleled quality of life. As a CRE professional, I’m excited about the opportunities this growth creates for Orlando's communities and businesses. Whether it’s office, industrial, or mixed-use spaces, the demand is only going 📈 . Credit: CoStar Group #FloridaGrowth #OrlandoCRE #CommercialRealEstate
