Last week Mission Critical Partners (MCP) launched our first Strategic Resource Group (SRG). Our SRG, with members Jana Bott, PMP, Robert (Bob) Kaelin, Heather L. Pettit, Jenna Streeter, Michael Moloney, John Ruggeri, III, Jennifer Wray, Gigi Smith, Dan Sr. Program/Project Manager Govt Sector and I, represents the affinity group of Military and First Responders. As we move forward our work in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space, we wanted to form a group truly aligned with the mission of MCP. At Mission Critical Partners we live our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence every day. This SRG aligns those core values with the skills and affinities that reside within our Military and First Responders brethren. Theresa M. Welbourne, PhD, my amazing teacher, friend and mentor defined SRGs as "organizationally sanctioned groups that focus on implementing work and innovations for ongoing support of the firm’s strategy." The members of our SRG are so proud to take that journey forward, because at Mission Critical Partners the mission matters. This SRG allows us to dive even further into that objective. We have already conducted our first meeting, where we discussed the group name (look forward to future posts for an announcement of the official name). We discussed the development of our vision and purpose statement, as well as internal and external activities we can launch in 2025. We are all extremely excited to take steps in furtherance of these goals. Having participated in the start of several Strategic Resource Groups in the past (then called Employee Resource Groups) I can't say enough about the strength and passion of the team we have formed at MCP. I have never experienced such a dynamic start. The creation of this group would not have been possible without the tremendous support and guidance of David Niekrasz, Joan Dashner, our CEO Darrin Reilly, our President Consulting Services John Chiaramonte and our Senior Vice President Corporate and Marketing Support Services Morgan Sava.
