Back in the office after Trimble Inc. Dimensions 2024, and now the work starts to implement some of the takeaways. A big thank you to all who attended my session on #utility #documentation and #GPR, we had a full room and good discussions afterwards. Key highlights: - #Productivity enhancements made easy in Trimble Access, thank you Luke Johnson. Be sure to follow Luke for his tutorials and insights into tools and workflows in Access. - #Classification training with a #mobilemapping focus for automated point placement through #TBC, from various sessions with the product development team. These workflows are the future of #pointcloud processing, with the deep learning tool allowing user training for every use case. - Corridor linework #digitisation at record speed from mobile mapping data, a very impressive presentation from TopoDOT. - The evolution of Trimble Connect as a central #project tool is clearly the future for the #3D rollout---lowering the cost of entry by providing a browser-based environment to share project information in a geospatially-consistent 3D space removes a software hurdle that has slowed the implementation of 3D data. - Always good to catch up with Ralf Pfefferkorn and the Sodex Innovations team; the implementation to enhance their SDX Compact #laserscanner with Trimble positioning data makes automated site documentation more affordable than ever. - Great insights on the intersection of #FTTH and #geospatial from Arnaud LEZENNEC and Ronald van Coevorden.
