In a series of posts over the next few months, we will be sharing information on our company values – what they mean, how we developed them as a team, and how we incorporate them into our daily lives. This journey began back in 2021 as we prepared for our demerger from Doro.
Our leadership team, with the guidance of a communications agency, initially laid the groundwork for our company name, brand, mission, vision, purpose, and values through a series of workshops. Recognising the importance of involving voices from across the organisation, we extended this work by appointing representatives from various departments to review and contribute their perspectives on the proposed values. Their input was invaluable and, in a collaboration with the leadership team, we refined these values to ensure company-wide resonance.
Our CHRO Annika Ramsing, reflects on the work that was accomplished:
“We understood that words hold different meanings for different people, which is why we launched the ‘Culture in Every Department’ initiative. Through this, managers led workshops with their teams to collectively determine what these values meant in their daily work. The result was a powerful alignment, where each department could identity with our values and how they were brought to life in their specific roles.”
Our values – Show Care, Act Smart, and Be Heroes – were born out of this process and are more than just words - they are principles that guide our actions and reflect in everything we do.
