🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 On the occasion of its 10th anniversary celebrated in Munich on 20 June 2024, the CleanTech Business Club (CBC) announced a strategic partnership with Euro-Funding Europe. This collaboration aims to identify and support disruptive startups in the cleantech, clean hydrogen, and clean water sectors through CBC's start-up hub. Euro-Funding will provide guidance on European public funding strategies, while CBC will connect these startups with international investors. This partnership seeks to foster innovation, promote clean technologies, and drive the growth of sustainable business practices. I’m honored to have been selected as a jury member for the Semi-Final session of the ClimateLaunchpad Europe contest this week. Innovative startups from #Spain, #France, #Germany, #Netherlands, the #UK, and #Türkiye presented groundbreaking ideas aimed at creating a better, more #SustainableWorld🌍. Witnessing the energy and enthusiasm of these brilliant minds was truly inspiring💡! Some of the key areas of #innovation included #prosumers #aggregation, #GridResiliency, #GreenMobility, new #materials for #buildings and for #packaging, #EnergyStorage and #CO2 absorption. A few key takeaways that stood out to me: 1️⃣ #CO2 reduction is a priority for these startups, each offering unique solutions and technologies to tackle the issue: this mission clearly resonates with the #NextGeneration of changemakers🌱. 2️⃣ Every solution was deeply rooted in #CustomerNeeds, an approach that’s essential but often overlooked👏. 3️⃣ #Innovation and #sustainability are not just buzzwords—they’re being embraced as the pillars for creating impactful, disruptive solutions⚡. It was a privilege to be part of this jury alongside such esteemed professionals, including João Dias da Silva, Brooke Wachtel, Patricia Kroondijk. Celebrating ChangeMakers: Insights from the Green Awards Jury Meeting 🏆🌿 Today in Berlin, I had the opportunity to participate in the annual #GreenAwards jury meeting, where we recognized the innovators driving #sustainability forward. Established in 2008, these awards highlight those making a tangible impact on the green transformation. From startups to established companies, the nominees we reviewed presented a variety of approaches to combating #climatechange. We discussed the different avenues for accelerating change: #activism, #law, #regulation, #behaviorchange, and of course #GreenTech. While each plays a crucial role, none alone can achieve the transformation we need. It's through collaboration that we truly advance towards a sustainable future. We evaluated the contributions of young changemakers, pioneers, StartUps and leading companies shaping a greener, more sustainable world. The discussions with fellow jury members were enlightening, and I left feeling inspired and eager to continue our green path. Hats off to all nominees! The winners will be announced on May 15, 2024, at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin.

In recent years private equity and investments in non-listed companies has been growing. Scale-ups play a significant role in driving innovation and productivity. I’m honored to serve as a jury member for the #NordicPropTechAwards2025, where I've had the privilege of reviewing candidates in the Sustainable & Healthy Buildings category. I’m more than convinced that start-ups and scale-ups hold a key role in solving the environmental challenges related to the built environment, responsible for 40% of the global CO2 emissions.
