Today, we announced a co-investment with the United States in a Canadian company, Fireweed Metals, to develop deposits of critical minerals in the Yukon. ⚒️ Canada’s investment of CAD $12.9M is joined by an American investment of USD $15.8M to advance grid connectivity and road improvements for two critical minerals projects in eastern Yukon. These activities will: ➡️ enhance Yukon’s green energy capacity and reliability, and ➡️ significantly reduce its future greenhouse gas emissions. Hey Canadian Minerals and Mining, it would be great to understand how Canada is getting ready to attract more investments from the USA, especially with the new American government discussing changes to trade and tariffs. It seems like the USA might be a bit uncertain or inconsistent in their approach. #minerals #metals #mining #strategic #critical

Great to see more critical mineral funding from Canada and the US flowing north. Our northern mineral potential is immense as is our northern need for infrastructure and investment dollars.
