NATO to Sweden

The value of NATO is that it exists. Everyday nearly seventy nations and organizations, 32 members and more than 35+ partners work together to develop a shared perspective about the challenges we face together while developing the political and military interoperability required to go out and address those problems head on. We could never do this in an ad hoc coalition, so those work because their core members are NATO members who bring the value NATO affords each Ally to that fight. Is it messy? Sometimes. Does it take too long? Sometimes. But imagine what the world would be like without it? Thanks to Al Jazeera English for giving me a chance to counter the negative narrative about NATO.

What are the advantages and challenges of NATO's Eastern Europe Expansion?

The funny thing is that American military geniuses don't realize that they are copying Imperial Japan's failed strategy. In the 1930s, the Japanese military invaded and built bases in several continental countries and islands in Asia, feeding the illusion that they would be able to control an immense territory capable of allowing the empire's sustained growth. But what they actually did was fragment their military forces. When the war actually began, Japan was unable to supply each of its military bases and they were being destroyed one by one by an irresistible concentration of firepower. The more military bases the Americans and their lapdogs in NATO build, the weaker they will be. Not to mention the waste of money to support a huge contingent of useless soldiers and the very expensive equipment at their disposal. Diplomacy would be cheaper and would allow the US and Europe to concentrate their forces and maximize their ability to react in the event of war.

I discussed on WDR Radio’s Kurdish program Cosmo, Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to #Turkey on the anniversary of the occupation of Ras al-Ayn (Serêkaniyê) and Tal Abyad (Gire Spî), and #Germany’s decision to resume arms and military technology sales to #Ankara. With China’s unprecedented rise and belligerence, global geostrategic action has begun to shift from South China Sea to the larger Indo-Pacific region. The US already has a huge air presence at Guam and Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Both are Island territories. US Trying to get more in Philippines. However, there are other Island airfields in the Indian Ocean Region. Diego Garcia, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, INS Baaz at Campbell Bay, and the IAF airbase at Car Nicobar getting renewed infra push. Nice map. However, I would suggest updating the color scheme /Symbology to make it easier to see. The map being shown would be considered a static map which can be distributed in hardcopies.
