... Incoming new defense tech to #SXSW in Austin! 😎
I had a quick pit stop in Denmark to gather new products for the coming week at SXSW. I'll be attending activities from tonight to Tuesday next week and my main location is at Capital Factory which has arranged a great line-up within tech, robotics, and defense!
What you see in the picture (somewhere over Canada) is our newest Soldier Borne Compute Module that enables tactical edge-computing capabilities directly on the soldier or as a stand-alone device in vehicles, hideouts, etc. It provides power and network from different tactical radios through our SRM ecosystem (developed with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)) and allows users to run machine learning on raw data feeds for better decision-making. A great solution for environments suffering from electronic warfare. Find me during the week and see it yourself!

It's a pretty amazing innovation that allows vehicles to transform their wheels into tracks and back again while in motion.
* Shape-shifting wheels: The RWT system can change a standard round wheel into a triangular track in about two seconds. This allows the vehicle to adapt to different terrains on the fly.
* Improved mobility: Wheels are great for hard, flat surfaces, but tracks perform better on soft terrain like sand or mud. With RWT, a vehicle can have the best of both worlds.
* Applications: This technology has potential applications in military vehicles, search and rescue operations, and even off-road recreational vehicles.
Here's why it's so cool:
* Increased versatility: Vehicles equipped with RWT can tackle a wider range of environments without needing to stop and change equipment.
* Enhanced performance: The ability to switch between wheels and tracks allows for optimal performance on various terrains, improving speed, maneuverability, and traction.
* Potential for innovation: This technology could lead to the development of even more adaptable and versatile vehicles in the future.
DARPA's RWT is a great example of how innovative engineering can push the boundaries of what's possible. It's definitely something to keep an eye on in the world of transportation technology!
Congrats! Promising investments!
