My first, first-author publication is now out in JACS: https://lnkd.in/gPRqzj8C In this study, we show evidence that iron carbene complexes are capable of performing ring-opening metathesis of norbornadienes - and importantly we were able to isolate the products stepwise: showing that they behave according to the Chauvin mechanism of olefin metathesis.
