Convening Connections, Aotearoa New Zealand Wednesday, April 3, 2024 - 9:30 am-11:00 am Please join us next week in a Practice Foundations // Pushing the Boundaries for Public Sector Innovation mash up - The session will be co-hosted by The Lab, Healthy Families Far North, and Lily Raphael of Vancouver Solutions Lab as part of the international series "Pushing the Boundaries of Public Sector Innovation”. We will be connecting with folks from Australia, North America, and beyond to explore the personal and structural aspects of systems change, grounded in an example from early years systems transformation efforts in Aotearoa. Speakers Aimee Hadrup (The Southern Initiative), Tanya Radford (Te Whatu Ora) and Angie Tangere - Ngāti Porou (The Lab) will share their experiences with the Early Years Implementation Learning Platform. The Platform brings together teams from across the public sector in Aotearoa to support a collective focus on the early years. It works to connect “on the ground” learning in community with systems transformation efforts, drawing on indigenous ways of knowing and being in the curation of the relationships, spaces and rhythms needed to do this work. This is session 3 of 3: Governments are facing increasing pressures to address complex challenges like climate change, growing inequity, reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples, and many others at the scale and rate that these challenges demand. We know we need to operate differently in order for different outcomes to be possible. The public sector needs to update the paradigms, processes, systems, structures, and tools of their trade to better respond to the complexity of the challenges we face. This is transformational work. The three sessions in this cycle will explore the inner and outer work of systems transformation in the public sector. Please check out this link to register or for access to earlier sessions! https://lnkd.in/g9seeaeQ Aimee Hadrup Penny Hagen
