HAAS CASE STUDY | GENOA, OH - Advanced Product Design (ADP), first featured in a 2022 Haas INSIDER, are back to discuss their 2nd UMC purchase, a UMC-500SS PP. ADP specializes in the design and manufacture of carburetor and fuel management systems for all aspects of motorsports. With their latest UMC's 11-station pallet pool, they're able to machine a mix of carburetors and rockers arms for up to 15 hours unattended. In this Haas INSIDER video, owner John Kyle explains how he's set up both 1st and 2nd ops on each pallet, to get at least one complete part per pallet on each run. John also shares some impressive metal removal rates that he credits to the UMC's superior rigidity.
