Workshop time at FORVIA HELLA - and this time it's all about.... building bridges! Yes, you read that right, we've gone under the architects, so to speak. Before you get the wrong idea, let me explain:
In a dynamic and complex industry like ours, where there is also a lot of competitive pressure, the whole team has to pull together. Easier said than done? The key for us to cracking this challenge is called the Objectives and Key Results method. It builds a bridge between the corporate strategy and the employees who are responsible for implementing this strategy.
Taking corporate objectives out of the ivory tower and bringing them to the operational level - we think that's important! That's why we dedicated an entire workshop to the topic and really delved into the OKR framework. It was about the core elements qualitative objectives, quantitative key results, transparent communication of these across all hierarchical levels and regular, fixed intervals for monitoring the status quo on the way to our objectives. The advantages of this method - not only, but especially for teams in the aftermarket - are obvious:
