📢 BREAKING NEWS: Forget Backlinks - Introducing "Uplinks," a New Top Ranking Factor🔗⬆️ I frequent a lot of SEO forums and subreddits, and in my most recent excursion I discovered that the key to skyrocketing your rankings is no longer building backlinks, but rather "Uplinks" - links FROM your website TO Google.com! 😱 That's right, the more links you point at Google's homepage, the higher your site will soar in the SERPs. Quality and relevance be damned! 📈 This can even take advantage of SGE's inherent biases and attract its attention, getting you more Generative Search placements! To help you take advantage of this exciting update, I put together a a special "Uplink Generator" Custom GPT for ChatGPT. Just enter your URL and the AI tool will visit your website, download your page content in HTML, and give you a new version of your page with discrete uplinks to Google on every page of your site! Link in the comments!🙌 Embrace the power of Uplinks and watch your traffic explode! 🚀 Note: Please don't do this to your site, it's a dumb April Fools joke. #HappyAprilFools #UplinksForTheWin #TotallyLegitSEOAdvice #PleaseUplink #OnWierdTrick #GoogleWillTotallyNotPenalizeYouForThis 😉

How I Audit Google Business Profile Photos 📷 Photos play a significant role in local search. They are one of the major conversion drivers for most businesses and can therefore impact rankings as well. If you don't know which photos are a great fit for your business, then I have a hack for you. Usually, the photos provided by our clients aren't very professional. So, if we're unsure whether they would affect visibility, we run them through Google’s Vision AI image test. Google understands very well what's in the images, so... What we want are positive emotions, people, not irrelevant text, and nothing that would indicate any sort of spam (like adult content or violence, etc.). Check it out yourself. Google Knowledge Panels Using AI-Generated Images: Google is showing AI-generated images in some of the knowledge panels they show in Google Search. Google is not creating these images; they come from images on third-party sites. And honestly, I kind of like it, at least in some cases. http://dlvr.it/T9w2cX

Alt text improves readability to viral So what is alt text Let's go to here Let's go directly to go high level And let's just click on an image Now inside the image you can see there is element name Now element name is what is written here as identify the medium right Now here all of them are images Now assume that you are trying to assume that you're trying to add this data which is an infogram rather than a image like this one right So if I'm gonna change this image into my image I'm just going to drop and go high level and then click on it Now the infogram is behind my page Now instead of element like sections I should say infogram or chart right If I want to put this image per se right now this is a infogram It's not actually an image It's kind of a funnel but it actually goes under an infogram This is how to show something So if I am using these kinds of images here let me just go and change this image So I want to update this image here right Now you can see that here in the image element name you are written as image right I can say like AI property management infogram right Now where does this actually come up in search result and why you're updating the old text So in order to see that you have to go to Google and let's just write pancakes right Now you can see here there are multiple images of pancake Now the reason why this particular image is being displayed here in Google result this all of this are probably shuttered like shutter images or copyright images They're trying to sell out this image So how they try to rank up this like if you go to here and go to inspect #realestateagent #realestatemarketing #realesateconsultant #digitalmarketing #realestateseo #googlesearchengine #googlerankings #googleseo #alttext

There was an interesting development a couple of days ago regarding disclosure of #ai-generated content online. Google, which had previously required advertisers to disclose "synthetic" or "digitally altered" content (nice euphemisms) in political ads, updated its disclosure policy to include automatically generated in-ad disclosures on feeds and shorts on mobile phones and certain other streams when the advertiser checks the "Altered or synthetic content" box in their ad campaign settings. For other forms of media, the advertiser is still responsible for checking this box and providing a "prominent disclosure." This is all well and good, and kudos to Google for trying to affirmatively address and prevent some of the troubling (indeed, terrifying) potential consequences of #generativeai ads using #deepfakes, especially in a presidential election year. But this policy begs at least a few questions: (1) can't the advertiser simply choose to not check the box? (2) what repercussions are there if an advertiser is not honest about its submission of AI-generated content? (3) how does Google know what content to automatically flag with a disclaimer -- is it only based on the self-disclosure by the advertiser, or is there back-end #technology that can identify AI content? Yes, these questions come from my suspicious #litigation brain and general cynicism concerning human behavior -- even so, I think they are legitimate and deserve contemplation, discussion, and perhaps even answers as we barrel toward November and beyond. #hunkerdown #slowmovingtrainwreck Update to our policy on Disclosure requirements for synthetic content (July 2024) - Advertising Policies Help (google.com)
