Fellow influencers: this is your friendly Friday reminder to ALWAYS READ CONTRACTS CAREFULLY! I just reviewed a contract with a brand for multiple YouTube Integrations. I requested 5 changes, including reducing exclusivity, net pay terms, and usage rights. This contract would have included unlimited rights and exclusivity until Feb 2025, costing them a lot more money than they were paying. I got a slightly higher rate for our integrations without usage rights and reduced exclusivity of 60 days instead of 6 months.
