It's the second day of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and there are so many ways people can impact on others mental health in a good way……. and today we’re focussing on the foundations. 1. Knowing when you’re working so you can plan life 2. Understanding the role and having quality training 3. Having a voice It’s important that everyone knows when they are due to work and has a clear understanding of expectations. For this reason we try to ensure our rotas are published well enough in advance for people to make plans and we seek feedback on this regularly to check that it’s happening. We’ve invested in new tracked training for new starters to help build not only competence, but confidence too. We work with Sixty Eight People to run regular coaching days on how to lead people with compassion, through the art of 2 way feedback…….. because listening to your team and giving them airtime is essential. #mentalhealthawarenessweek #momentsformovement #worklifebalance
