Over the past year, we’ve been rehabilitating water hand pumps and distributing water filters to families from villages surrounding Adré transit camps in eastern Chad. More than 200,000 people are currently living in makeshift shelters in the camps. With so many people, resources are limited and there’s a need to increase the quantity of safe water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. By reinstating water hand pumps, we’ve successfully provided safe water to hundreds of thousands of refugees in the camps.
The work being done to provide safe water in such challenging conditions is truly commendable. Every person deserves access to basic necessities, and your efforts are making a significant difference in the lives of many. Thank you for your commitment to improving the situation for those in need.
