A cooling tower is a specialized heat exchanger in which air and water are brought into direct contact with each other in order to reduce the water's temperature. As this occurs, a small volume of water is evaporated, reducing the temperature of the water being circulated through the tower. Types of cooling tower: 1. Crossflow cooling tower. 2. Counterflow cooling tower. 3.Induced draft cooling tower 4. Forced draft cooling tower etc.

Problem: The oven doors experience jamming during operation and inadvertently close on the product, causing potential damage and operational disruptions. Solution: A 3/4" Legris Transair piping system was installed, complete with a regulator and a main shut-off valve, to supply air to a custom air curtain constructed from 1/2" Legris Transair components. This air curtain prevents physical damage to the product by creating a protective barrier, while also reducing heat loss from the oven, ensuring both product integrity and improved thermal efficiency.

Window receptors - while popular due to their ability to accommodate construction tolerances and make for easier installation - come with unique challenges. Window receptors can negatively impact the water penetration & air leakage characteristics of a window unit if not viewed as an integral part of the window assembly. In addition to ensuring that window units & receptors are tested & rated together as an assembly, it is extremely important to ensure that additional sealants are detailed & installed prior to or as part of the window unit installation.
