Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) Managing Director, Shri Anshul Gupta, led a delegation in Bengaluru to explore investment opportunities in the state of MP. The meeting aimed to position Madhya Pradesh as an ideal tech destination and highlight the benefits of the Madhya Pradesh IT ITES ESDM Investment Promotion Policy 2023. During the visit, Shri Gupta met with leaders from Tie Global and Safal Labs to discuss the state’s investment climate and potential collaborations. The discussions centered around leveraging Madhya Pradesh’s strengths to attract investments in the IT, ITES, and ESDM sectors. To gain firsthand insights into industry best practices, the MPSEDC team also toured the state-of-the-art facilities of Infosys and Kaynes Technology in Mysore. He stressed that India must focus on building a resilient ecosystem, strengthening key industrial sectors, enhancing its R&D and innovation capabilities, and prioritizing skilling and workforce development. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of global collaboration in driving these efforts forward. Mr Tanveer Ahmed, Chief Technology, Officer Digantara, emphasized the importance of fostering a strong tolerance for failure and prioritizing innovation. He stated that capital expenditures and facilities for scaling operations are essential for growth. Furthermore, he stressed the need for greater collaboration between industry and academia, particularly in sharing intellectual property to drive progress. Mr Santosh Gundapi, Vice Chairman, CII Mysuru & Senior Director, AT & S India Pvt Ltd, emphasized that achieving Atma Nirbhar Bharat and self-reliance requires significant effort.
