CE Hon. Tracey Martin is en route to Reefton today to meet with locals fighting to replace the aged care services their community lost earlier this year. For many, the closure of Ziman House has meant loved ones must leave their town, their community, and their loved ones to receive the care they need. Today's update explores the challenges of delivering care in rural areas such as Reefton, and what New Zealand can learn from Australia's approach. Because we don’t have to reinvent the wheel here; we can learn from proven models and adapt them to meet the unique needs of our communities, ensuring equitable access to care for all New Zealanders, no matter where they live. Tracey also points out that these scenarios are the results of decisions. Somewhere along the way, a decision has been made inside Te Whatu Ora, inside government, that it is okay not to provide aged care to some of our communities. The ACA continues to call for members of government to look at what the Australian’s are doing, and consider the benefits for the New Zealand aged care sector of adopting innovative funding models, like block funding, to support rural and regional communities in providing sustainable and locally tailored aged care solutions. #AgedCare #RuralHealthcare #RuralCommunities
Heading off to Reefton today.

For the past five years, I've set ambitious goals, driven by a desire to achieve greatness. Yet, as I look back, I must admit to our failure. Each year, despite our best efforts, those goals remained unattained. The truth is, those goals were gigantic—from adding 100 team members to multiplying revenue by 10, and establishing five new offices. But this year, as I stood before my team at our annual anniversary event, I presented a goals deck unlike any other. Instead of these gigantic ambitions, I chose to focus on the power of small victories. Each goal was carefully crafted to be achievable, realistic, and most importantly, human. Some may look at our goals and deem them insignificant, too small to make a dent in the grand scheme of things. But I've come to realize that it's the accumulation of these small victories, year after year, that will pave our path to creating MediaX | A Creative Growth Agency, a remarkable agency. And so, as I share our aspirations for the year ahead, I do so with a newfound sense of hope and excitement. For the first time in years, I am confident—truly confident—that we will achieve every single goal outlined in the attached PDF. Here's to celebrating the small victories 🚀 #MediaX
Here's what we are upto this year! Take a look ✨

Continuous improvement drives success in outbound functions
One year as a Yotpo Flamingo! 🦩 Wow -- how time flies! Reflecting on the last 365 days, I’m filled with gratitude and a sense of pride for all that my team has accomplished. From completely overhauling the outbound function and empowering my team to navigating challenges and celebrating wins, every experience has been an opportunity to learn and grow alongside some of the most driven and talented people in the industry. I’m especially grateful to my team — their resilience, innovation, and dedication to continuous improvement inspire me every day. Thank you to everyone at Yotpo who has been part of this journey, offering guidance, feedback, and encouragement along the way. I'm excited to keep building on the success we've already seen and push the limits of what's possible! Cheers! 🥂

Sometimes just taking a deep breath and engaging in our playful sides is exactly what we need to reset and reengage in news ways in the business. Love this reminder Hayley that laughter, creativity, teamwork, and play can have a significant impact on our connections and our joy. #wellness #joy #teamwork #impact #BusinessPerformance
One of Transcend's team commitments is "Joy," and I truly experienced that during our Tri-annual meeting earlier this month. Jaci, Kevin, and Mike organized a scavenger hunt that included rollerblading, a gondola ride over Spokane Falls, and a merry-go-round ride - and those were just the first three stops! It was a fantastic reminder to embrace joy in everything we do… which is even sweeter when your team wins the competition! Special shout-out to Craig, Makenzie, and Kevin for that. 🥇 Here’s to more fun and memorable moments.
