While there is much potential in GenAI, it is not a silver bullet. Here is an article with an excellent overview (high level) of the capabilities of GenAI.

The problem with the AI Magic button on every product is that the assumption is that people need a magic wand when, in reality, what we need is to learn what we should/can want. The way most of the AI-tools are being deployed now is just reinforcing the same behavior, not allowing people to create a new one. So much of what I do with AI is about applying it as a glue between two (or more) seemingly unrelated fields/topics/problems.
