Personal projects are great way to experiment with new techniques, expand your skills and get really creative. I have started a self-initiated animation series centered around the theme of sharing delightful moments with wildlife. This first piece depicts the swapping moment with a Snail. Throughout the design process I have learnt how to create a 3D design looks 2D by creating a cell shading material in Cinema 4D. The benefit of this technique not only adds depth to the overall piece but also gives the option of setting up the character in different postures in the 3D space, simplifying the process compared to employing intricate fake 3D techniques in After Effects. #animation #cellshading #cinema4D #2Danimation #3Danimation

Journey of the Wandering Triangle: Tracing the Path of a Curtate Cyclogon... This animation illustrates the path traced by a 'curtate cyclogon' as an equilateral triangle rolls along a straight line without slipping. The tracing point is located outside the perimeter of the triangle. A 'curtate cyclogon' is the path traced by a point attached to a shape (such as a triangle or a circle) as it rolls along a flat surface.
