Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of joining the Bill Removalists Sydney family for a delicious home-cooked dinner. 👨👨👦👦 Bill has been a valued client of ours for over a decade, and we always love catching up with him and his family. His father-in-law is an incredible cook, and we were absolutely blown away by the delicious meal he prepared for us. 👨🍳 _________________________________________ #smallbusinesssuccess #clientappreciation #homecookedmeal #localbusiness #dinnerwithclients #familytime #onlinemarketing #digitalmarketing #smallbusiness #celebration

Happy April Fools' Day! The history of April Fools' Day is uncertain. It may date back to the 1500s when France changed from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar. People who failed to keep up with change and kept celebrating the first day of the year, in April, were mocked. Some more recent epic fools include a 1957 broadcast on the BBC of Italian farmers growing and harvesting pasta from trees! In 1996, Taco Bell released a faux campaign to buy the Liberty Bell and rename it the Taco Liberty Bell. In 1998, Burger King announced a left-handed Whopper - and many customers fell for the dupe and ordered it. Whether you love April Fools' or hide all day to avoid the pranks, we hope you have a great first day of the month and keep any clowning around fun, funny, and all in good taste! #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #shopsmall #shoplocal #entrepreneur #business #supportlocal #localbusiness #businessowner #womeninbusiness #humanresources #hr #recruitment #business #hiring #recruiting #jobs #jobsearch #career #job #employment #resume #payroll #nowhiring #hrconsulting #humanresourcesconsulting #recruiter #jobhunt

This week, the Stewardship Wealth team got into the holiday spirit with a fantastic lunch at The Cowshed Restaurant in Banchory (it's almost become a second office for us!). Complete with Christmas jumpers and a few family members, we enjoyed great food, some really bad Christmas cracker jokes, and plenty of laughter.🎄🎅 #TeamLunch #ChristmasJumpers #StewardshipWealth #PurposeDrivenFinancialPlanning #FinancialPlanning #WealthManagement #Stewardship

This weekend was wet one here on the east cost of Australia. Saturday was mostly spent entertaining the kids and trying to coax the dogs - neither of whom are big fans of rain - outside to do their business. We assumed Sunday would be much of the same, so to give everyone something to look forward to, my wife and I invited our extended family over for a good old Sunday roast. Our extended family totals 14 humans. That’s 8 adults and 6 kids. As Sunday roasts are one of my favourite things to cook, I was on-point for the delivery. As I’m sure many would know, there is plenty of prep work that goes in to getting a Sunday roast ready. I was going for a slow roast leg of lamb this time around. I tend to be more of a Chicken or Pork person, so I’m always a little nervous when it comes to Lamb. Getting the leg of lamb in to the oven at exactly the right time, at exactly the right temperate was my main concern. I had something of an implosion 🤯 5 minutes before I was due to put the leg of lamb in to the oven. I reached for the foil, only to find that it was the end of the roll. To make matters worse, there was no spare! I’d just experienced an availability failure in my supply chain. Fortunately, I don’t live too far from our local mall, and so within seconds I was in the car and on my way to Woolies. This supply chain issue led a minor delay in the launch of the roast, but nothing too serious. I’m happy to report that the roast went off without any other significant events and overall, from what I could tell, all 14 humans were happy with the end result. On the train in to the office this morning, I took some time to think through what I could have done better, especially when it came to making sure I had everything I needed for the roast. During my PRR (Post Roast Review), I came to the conclusion that I could have done a better job of ensuring I’d verified my DBOM (Dinner Bill of Materials). Had I spent a little more time preparing my DBOM and then making sure I had everything I needed, I would not have experienced an incident that impacted the AVAILABILITY of foil, and there would have been no need for my emergency dash to Woolies - and all of the stress that comes with that! If you've read this far and you don’t want to suffer a similar incident when you’re preparing your next Sunday roast (Or building game-changing software), and you happy to be in Philadelphia at #AWSreInforce2024 next week (June 10-12) consider joining Leo da Silva and I for some coding show-and-tell fun in APS341 - Shifting left, securing right: Container supply chain security on June 12, 2024 @ 2:30PM ET - I promise I won't be cooking!! #aws #cloudsecurity #awscloud #supplychain #containersecurity #awsreinforce

🍀 On St. Patrick's Day, everyone loves to celebrate like they're Irish. 🍀 A big part of the fun is wearing green, watching parades, and eating corned beef with cabbage. But many people don't know why corned beef is so popular on this day. A long time ago, beef in Ireland was mostly for rich people, and a lot of it was sent to England. When a big famine happened because of potato diseases, many Irish people moved to America. There, they found corned beef was cheap and easy to buy. This was a big deal because, back in Ireland, they couldn't afford beef. Even though the corned beef in America was a bit different, it reminded them of home. Now, corned beef is a big part of St. Patrick's Day meals. The way we celebrate St. Patrick's Day today, with food and drinks, started with Irish people who moved to America. They wanted to remember Ireland and St. Patrick by keeping some of their traditions alive, like wearing shamrocks and enjoying Irish drinks. Now, about making corned beef: it's all about cooking it slowly to make it really soft and tasty. You can boil it, bake it, or put it in a slow cooker. Each way makes the beef taste a bit different. You can find easy recipes on how to cook it perfectly. 🍖 For more summarized news like this, subscribe to our newsletter: https://lnkd.in/dVuEVwYj [Source: https://lnkd.in/dzgAaimj ] #MeatBorsa #MeatNews #stpatricksday

Have you ever studied bees? 🐝 Did you know that they have one goal amongst the hive, and they will prioritize that over all other responsibilities? It's to keep the Queen laying eggs. Every function will focus on that task. The workers all have responsibilities that contribute to her ability to lay eggs. It's not about the Queen herself but on the task she needs to complete for the hive to thrive. Mike Michalowicz and Adrienne Dorison in Run Like Clockwork help companies identify their QBR: Queen Bee Role, which supports their Brand Promise. AND NOW, SO DO WE!!!!👏 At Safe Food En Route, LLC, our Queen Bee Role is "fueling efficient practices". In every decision and process, we ensure it aligns with this core role. If it's not fueling efficient practices, we adjust to enhance efficiency. This action sets us apart from our competition and helps us achieve food safety confidence with our clients. 🍴🚚 #Efficiency #FoodSafety #BusinessStrategy #FoodSafetyCulture
