IMPACT of NOT having #NEURODIVERSITY 👎🏽 Don't #grow 👎🏽 Don't #learn 👎🏽 Don't see new #opportunities 👎🏽 Don't harness #talent 👎🏽 Reduced #socioeconomic mobility Comes from and creates ❌ narrow mindset ❌ lack and scarcity model ❌ closed attitude ❌ deficit based approach This is based on fear of difference, however without difference we stagnate, atrophy and lack progression and solutions and perspective. #DIVERSITY BRINGS: ✅ #growth mindset ✅ #strengthbased approach ✅ #perspectives ✅ #opportunities ✅ #solutions So to not embrace diversity must be damaging to us, our learning and businesses.

Regarding last night's #PresidentialDebate2024, I believe this is an ideal moment to share one of my favourite videos - #LaurieAnderson's 2010 "Another Day in America." Anderson, a pioneer in experimenting with technology, used a vocoder to make her spoken or sung words sound as if they are also being sung by an instrument, creating an eerie 'voice of authority'. The closing question in the clip, "How do we begin again?" resonates with prescience and foreboding, suggesting that the American Dream is swiftly fading for many. It's truly worth a listen. Anderson's #creative work, often described as #avantgarde, represents cerebral rock at its finest. A human kaleidoscope of thought-provoking ideas and concepts. The world desperately needs more artists like Anderson. My favourite quote from her is: Art is about paying attention. And we need to pay extra special attention to events in the months and years ahead. #art #music #usa #concepts #creativity #prescience

What I adore about Art Williams' speech here is his combination of character, rhythm and repetition. Towards the climax of his speech Art masterfully uses repetition to an extreme, humorous, powerful effect. His speed, pacing, and “drawl” on his accent quickly connect words that start to flow like a waterfall. Making this one of my favorite talks of all time. https://lnkd.in/eHTqDzh6
