The School for Moral Ambition reposted this
One of the most wonderful surprises about co-founding The School for Moral Ambition has been just how many amazing people and organizations have offered to help us. From day one we have relied on the support of our founding funders + a huge network of ambitious idealists who believe in our mission. This is one of the main reasons why we’ve been able to grow so quickly (3,000+ members and counting!) and why we’re now able to expand in Germany and the US simultaneously. I feel it’s the perfect moment to publicly express my gratitude to all the incredible people who made this possible. A heartfelt THANK YOU to: Detail for beautifully filming our podcast. Buitenplaats De Hoorneboeg for hosting multiple events and team days. De Waterkroon Wieringerwaard (and our awesome founding funder Sven Rickli) for the beautiful training location for our fellows. Food Hub (NL) for donating multiple days of training for our fellows. Remote for the massive discount for using your essential platform. World Trade Center (WTC) Amsterdam for the steep discount for our beautiful office. #SustainablePublicAffairs for hosting us in Brussels + two brilliant training days. The Talent Institute for their essential user research for our online community platform. the can do company for helping to improve our Circle program. Koentact for the Dutch language lessons for two of our employees. Hague Corporate Affairs for a full day of training. Danielle Cohen, Pauline Dekker, Esther Croes, Florence Berteletti, Reinskje Talhout, Charlotte GGM Pauwels, Pieter Rijswijk and Tjeerd de Groot for the amazing training days. And The Good Food Institute Europe for a wonderful partnership. Meanwhile, we’re preparing for our global launch in the United States, where soo many people and orgs are helping us as well. To name just a few - Mehul Bhagat, founder of Elea Ventures, Jeremy Heimans from Purpose, Mirik Gogri from Spectrum Impact, Morris Pearl from Patriotic Millionaires, Rachel Atcheson of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Food Policy, Mikaela Saccoccio at Horizon Institute for Public Service, Liza Heavener and David Dietz at Nexus, Wendy Kopp from Teach For All. THANK YOU so much! For my forthcoming book 'Moral Ambition' I interviewed Rob Mather, founder of The Against Malaria Foundation. He once described how it feels every time people offer to help him and his organization: 'You sort of want to jump up and kiss people when that happens, because it's terrific that everybody said, "We'll help."' I can't agree more. #moralambition
Honoured to partner on this mission with you, Rutger! As we always say: "Keep up the good work"!
It's a great honor to contribute to this important, urgent, and impactful movement. Truly amazing how many wonderful, smart, and hardworking people are connected to the foundation. They all dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to creating a better world. It’s incredible to be a part of that.
Happy to help your mission. A borderless world closely aligns with our vision of helping people be able to get hired wherever in the world they are. 💜
It is a great pleasure to serve as the home base for The School for Moral Ambition and to see The Fellowships thriving at De Waterkroon | Unieke groepsaccommodatie.
Great initiative and glad to see my hometown Berlin with 200 community members on the map! 🦾
A lot of people are trying to stand up and walk towards a new way of living on this planet, your school is the hand that makes it a LOT easier for them to stand up and this movement gives the direction to walk towards. Love it!
Really exciting to see the expansion into Germany and the US. Would love to hear more about how these different communities are shaping the School's evolution.
Let me know when the The School for Moral Ambition comes to Canada. We’ll build it here too.
Excited we can play a tiny part in sharing great ambitious stories with the The School for Moral Ambition podcast.

2wThat is great to hear Rutger Bregman! Wonderfull that you give them well-deserved credits! You might be interested to hear that this rippling effect works on a more local scale as well. Since I founded a circle in Eindhoven, there have been many people and organisations helping me as well. Like Annet Nooijen , from de Bibliotheek Eindhoven for hosting us at their perfect location at the Bibliotoop Tongelre. Pieter. Vermeer from Stichting JobOn to give me the strength to start this whole journey. Erik Roebroek, for helping us with his knowledge and passion about meaningfull work, to deepen our understanding of our Ikigai and our why. 〰 Remco Langeler 〰 , Rik Konings , Amanda van der Wielen , and Michael J. Dawkins are offering their knowledge and network to help us with katalyzing our ideas or innovations into our next step. By pitching our proposition to them in a Dragons Den like setting, we expect to deepen our commitment, like a pledge, but then real 😀. Good luck in Merica, lots of traction there I guess!
