Diving in headfirst: no plan, no problem (and why it can be a good thing) Just last week I decided to take a trip to Alaska to recharge in nature. With everything going on—managing a 9-5 job, helping my parents, juggling rental properties, searching for a new house to buy, and starting a new business venture—I felt overwhelmed. But I had this itch to see Alaska for awhile. I didn't need to wait for the perfect moment or for anyone to join me. So I booked the trip. Here’s what I experienced: 1. Midnight Sun: Watching the sun cast a surreal glow over the landscape was magical. 2. Glaciers: Standing close to a massive glacier, feeling its icy breath, was awe-inspiring. 3. Denali Summit: Seeing Denali’s towering, majestic peak left me speechless. 4. Halibut & Salmon: Ate amazing food, Homer Alaska is known as the halibut capital of the world. This trip taught me a valuable lesson: Having an idea isn’t enough. You need to act on it. ↳ Life is about seizing opportunities and living fully. ↳ Whether it’s a business venture or a personal goal you have to move forward and embrace the challenge. So don’t wait for the perfect time or plan to do something. It doesn't have to be a grand thing you need to do. It could be something small such as planting a flower or calling your parents more. You'll always learn more by doing than having ideas. Look forward to the joy of embracing new experiences.
