Honored to celebrate my one year anniversary as CEO of Gorilla Logic. I’ve spent time reflecting on the past year – what have I learned, what progress have we made, and what should we celebrate? It has been a challenging market the past 2 years in digital engineering, and every company has to up their game in order to compete. And that’s what we’ve done. Defining what to do is the easy part – making it happen takes an entire organization working together to embrace a vision and then put pieces of that vision in place. I’ve been blessed to be a part of a company with a strong sense of values and associated culture. Our values are real and we live them every day – and my job is to protect and amplify those values in all that we do. What are our values and why do they matter? Read on. - We are One Band of Gorillas – a group of gorillas in the wild is called a band. And you can’t make beautiful music if you don’t work together.  If we work hand in hand with our clients we can make beautiful music. - We Assume Good Intentions – technology is an imperfect world and people make mistakes. Assuming good intentions informs how you respond to a mistake – by coaching, mentoring and developing people. - We Embrace Transparency – we have to be open and honest with our clients, our peers, our Gorillas. Sharing information openly and honestly (and with good intentions) allows a Band to grow and develop. - We Are Unstoppable – a charging gorilla is unstoppable – so we have to be unstoppable in all that we do. These aren’t just values for a company – they are values for life. I’ve learned in the past year that my most important job as CEO is to protect and amplify our values – and if I do that then Gorilla Logic will be #unstoppable.
