🛫We had an inspiring and productive time at the M06 General Assembly of the UPBEAT project, hosted by GKN Aerospace Sweden! ✅UPBEAT focuses on advancing Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) techniques to enhance aviation safety and innovation. 🌍 By integrating novel materials like metal-composite hybrids and leveraging state-of-the-art additive manufacturing, we aim to significantly reduce uncertainties in aerospace component lifecycles. 👫The General Assembly provided an excellent opportunity to review our progress, align on upcoming milestones, and strengthen collaborations among our incredible partners: SINTEF Manufacturing, Aerobase Innovations AB, INSTITUT DE RECHERCHE TECHNOLOGIQUE JULES VERNE GKN Aerospace Sweden, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Phimeca and EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
