3D scan, mobile mapping, AI and SLAM tech application and solution

LCC Gaussian splats in Apple Vision Pro😉 When I wear this VR headset, I feel like I am back to the place I scanned in Chicago this February with #Lixel scanner. In this case you can wonder in the 3D space freely instead of just viewing it around at one spot. Totally different experience from those of panoramic views or 3D videos. What's more, a world of jumping from one city to the place in the other side of the earth can be expected, immersive and interactive. Powered by XGRIDS technology, slam-based 3D #gaussiansplatting solution--#LixelCybercolor. 5-10min mobile scanning, 100-200 min local processing, and Unity SDK adopted for developing. #AVP #VR #XR #3D #realitycapture #mobilescanning #spatialxomputing

I see nice use-cases for several faculties of Hogeschool Inholland Henk Kruizinga Sanja Leene. 3D Gaussian splatting has future potential! Nice to see this development.

Mindy Li what steps are required before viewing in headset via XGRIDS? What are the prep steps before viewing (capture photos, ..., ,... export to mesh format, etc.)?

Would love to see this in archaeology! Accisibility for the public is something that many sites struggle with. It would be amazing to see museums use this technology to show folks around sites and locations they would rarely see!
