As someone with a background in banking, I’ve always understood the value of investments—not just the financial kind, but also the investments we make in our relationships and personal lives. For me, there’s nothing more important than gathering with family and friends, especially around a table filled with good fucking food. Growing up, the kitchen was the heart of our home, where recipes were shared, laughter, arguments, and memories were made. These moments remind me of what really matters—being present, showing gratitude, and investing in quality time with loved ones…something that only seems to get harder as life speeds up. In my career, I’ve learned the importance of building trust and meaningful relationships. But here’s the truth: no professional accomplishment can replace the bonds we share with family and friends. This holiday season, take a step back, slow down, and embrace what really fucking matters. There are so many things to be happy and excited for, specifically this time of year. Family vacation time is that for me - this year we got to explore the wilds of Alaska, get burned on the beaches of Florida, soak in the chilly fresh waters of the Great Lakes and have some good quality family time, and there's still time for more memories to be made. Another fun thing I like to do is building generational wealth for my children (and maybe even their children) through real estate.
