On way back from eTail and it was interesting hearing a few common threads in panels and convos: - Most still struggle with minor personalization when communicating with customers via email, SMS, or other direct channels. For example matching products and language in emails based on purchase history (ie don’t send me 6” heel reco’s if I purchased a pair of men’s joggers) - Desire to understand more about WHO their customers really are outside of click-purchase paths Why are anonymous ID technologies so popular? They can help you understand a bit more about who is on your site! Persona creation automation & appending to customer profiles is something we’ve been investing a lot of time into in 2025 (the “who”). A SIMPLE TIP THAT GENERATED OVER $3M FOR BATTLBOX! Four years ago, I was on a call with my good friend Christopher George, who dropped a nugget of wisdom that would forever change how we do business at BattlBox. Chris mentioned a small tweak they made on Gentleman’s Box—a simple upsell option on the last page of checkout that was driving insane conversion rates. Intrigued, I decided to give it a shot on our own site, and the results were nothing short of game-changing. Since implementing this small change, we’ve generated over $3M in additional revenue from our Mystery Box upsell alone. This experience highlighted something we practice regularly—testing. We’re always testing tweaks on our site, whether it’s a button, call to action, or product placement. The truth is, normally testing isn’t about finding one massive win; it’s about stacking small, incremental improvements that collectively move the needle. Love how Innosupps is combining bundles and subscriptions to upsell a $47.00 product into a $191.95 🤩 Key features: - Anchoring the “add-to-cart” text to bring users to a dedicated upsell section. - Allowing customers to select their flavors without leaving the page using a pop up experience. - If customers want to learn more, there’s still a dedicated landing page for the bundle that features a ton of educational material about the products. - After checkout, the bundle’s SKU is replaced by the SKUs of its individual items.
