Whether or not you're planning your own Independence Day celebration, it's important to take precautions to keep your pets safe before, during and after Fourth of July festivities. 🎆Make sure your pets have identification tags with up-to-date information. 🎆Make sure the environment is safe and secure. If your neighbors set off fireworks at an unexpected time, is your yard secure enough to keep your pet contained? 🎆Leave your pets at home when you go to parties, fireworks displays, parades and other gatherings. 🎆Loud fireworks, unfamiliar places and crowds can all be very frightening to pets, and there's great risk of pets becoming spooked and running away. 🎆Keep your pets inside if you or your neighbors are setting off fireworks. 🎆Keep sparklers, glow sticks, fireworks, charcoal and kabob skewers away from curious pets.

As we gear up for the 4th of July celebrations, we wanted to share a few friendly reminders to keep your festivities safe and fun: 1. Fireworks Fun: Leave the fireworks to the pros! Enjoy the big displays and keep the sparklers for the kiddos (with adult supervision, of course). 2. Grill Masters: Keep your grill a safe distance from your home and never leave it unattended. Safety first, burgers second! 3. Stay Hydrated: Remember to drink plenty of water. It’s hot out there, and we don’t want anyone mistaking the fireworks for heat-induced hallucinations. 4. Travel Smart: If you’re hitting the road, buckle up, take breaks, and never drink and drive. Let’s make sure everyone gets home safely. 5. Pet Safety: Our furry friends might not love the booms and bangs. Keep them indoors and make sure they have a comfy, quiet space to relax. From all of us at Poppe Law Firm, we wish you a joyous and safe Independence Day! Let's celebrate the land of the free and the home of the brave responsibly.
