However, Action Plans will be accepted up to March 5, 2025. ESOS applies to large UK organisations with either 250+ employees, or a turnover exceeding £44m, and a balance sheet exceeding £33m. In-scope organisations should have already completed an ESOS audit and by 5th December will also need to complete and submit an Action Plan for energy savings to remain compliant. Businesses will also need to submit progress reports against the Action Plan for the following two years. Non-compliance could lead to fines and reputational damage. Act now to ensure compliance before the December deadline.
