Likewise, boot camps like General Assembly’s UX Design program cost $16,450. Exciting Times Ahead! 🎓✨ As our kids head off to college, it's a time filled with excitement, pride, and a bit of anxiety. While they embark on this new journey, it's also a crucial time for us as parents to think about financial planning to ensure their success and our peace of mind. Here are some tips we've found helpful: • Budgeting: Establish a budget for tuition, books, and living expenses. It helps to involve your child in this process to teach them financial responsibility. • Scholarships and Grants: Explore scholarship and grant opportunities. Every bit helps, and there are many resources available. • Savings Plans: If you haven’t already, consider setting up a 529 savings plan. It’s a tax-advantaged way to save for education expenses. • Emergency Fund: Make sure to have an emergency fund in place. Unexpected expenses can arise, and it's best to be prepared. • Part-Time Work: Encourage your child to look for part-time work or internships. It’s a great way to gain experience and earn some extra money. • Financial Aid: Don’t forget to fill out the FAFSA. It’s essential for accessing federal financial aid and many scholarships. Wishing all the new college students an amazing year ahead! 📚🎉 #CollegeBound #FinancialPlanning #ProudParents
