Leaders of philanthropic institutions are grappling with an urgent question — how can we ensure that emerging technologies advance our shared purpose and improve the lives of the communities we serve?
Meanwhile, a critical funding gap persists for nonprofits deploying AI, machine learning, and other tech-enabled approaches to tackle major societal challenges.
To unlock resources for this critical work, grantmakers need the right tools, knowledge, and community of practice to thoroughly evaluate and champion proposals that involve data science, AI, and technology product development.
Next week, in partnership with Google.org, the GitLab Foundation, and Fast Forward, PJMF aims to help close that gap by convening Fund.AI — a two-day in-person peer learning exchange where grantmakers will learn directly from each other, and from the builders of nonprofit tech, on how great technology products are built and how we can help the ecosystem grow.
