Author and Mencap Myth Buster Michael Beynon's inspiring journey to gaining a Guinness World Records! Michael, a 29-year-old marathon runner from North Wales with Down Syndrome, has just achieved a Guinness World Record by walking an incredible 100.17km in just one week! As a Mencap Myth Buster, Michael is committed to challenging misconceptions about people with a learning disability. He said: 💬" I’m so happy about achieving this Guinness World Records title!" His hope for aspiring sportspeople: 💬 “I hope this 100km challenge encourages others to get out and stay active." #GuinnessWorldRecords
