With 2500 SEND children without a school place in Bucks, Beds & Herts because there is not enough specialist schools in place for the thousands of homes they keep building… Thousands of children are being failed at it’s not easy for them to find work without these qualifications. We’re getting shut door after shut door for my 17 year old who was failed and there is not enough support in place (in Milton Keynes) to raise them up. We need an entrepreneurial ethos school in every city which shines a light on these outdated systems. The government has promised millions but we’re not seeing it!! Just more houses 😢 As from my experience, for employers to see how amazing our children are…. GCSE results should be removed from applications as they DO go against children who did not score well. Luckily the Royal Air Force (RAF) see past Autism diagnoses and low or no GCSE and we’re 60% through the application now so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 It takes a bucket load of grit and determination to be successful in 2024 and beyond #entrepreneurship #inclusion #diversityandinclusion

Employers might glance at exam results as a guide, but what truly sets young people apart are qualities that can’t be taught in a classroom… like a strong work ethic, character, and an eagerness to learn and explore new challenges ! No one expects you to have it all figured out by 16 – I know I certainly didn’t - so don’t worry if you feel like you don’t fit a particular mould, because success comes in all shapes and sizes and certainly can’t be rolled out on a conveyer belt. So good luck to all those collecting exam results today, and remember, you’re only on this incredible journey that we call life for a nanosecond in the grand scheme of things - it’s what you and only you decide to make of it and exam results are only a small part of that journey ! #GCSE #GCSEResults2024

The whole education system needs an overhaul. We've created a situation where pupils are subjected to 20+ exams over a 3-4 week period, causing an unparalleled level of stress and underperformance. Monitoring should be performed by continuous assessment. Most subjects are delivered on a modular basis, so testing can be formalised and pupils know exactly where they are as they head for further education. Aligning themselves to a bright future, not one saddled with a degree they will never use and a debt they cannot repay. School-leavers are still being funnelled to sixth form and university, when they are better suited to a NVQ / T-Levels. Schools have become sausage factories, ignoring the huge potential in young people from a technical POV......and we wonder why there are huge shortfalls of tradesmen to build the much-needed houses and infrastructure this country so needs. 🤷♂️ Do you agree?

Top tips for succeeding with a #CIPS O.R. exam

It's GCSE Results Day in the UK today - a huge moment for students as they collect their first set of major results. So it seems like a good day to remind anyone who needs it that learning isn't all about exams and test scores. Here's our advice, whether you're getting grades back today or not: 💡 Stay curious. 💡 Commit to continuous development. 💡 Remember that everyone's on their own personalized journey. 💡 Choose to never stop learning - whether you're 18 or 80 - and you'll never be bored. #GCSEResults #LifelongLearning

As a student going into year 11, the year ahead is likely to have many ups and downs… But don’t worry, that’s totally normal! Here are a few things you can expect for year 11 👇. Exams, Exams, Exams 📝: Obviously, this is not news to you, and you have probably had numerous tests and assessments in Year 10! This year you’ll also have one, or even two more sets of exams, in the form of mocks, as well as several smaller tests throughout the year. Greater Intensity ⚡: You will have noticed the increase in workload when you made the change from Year 9 to Year 10. However, now you’re in year 11, expect the intensity to, at the very least, stay the same, but more likely it will increase even more. Time will go FAST ⏳: You need to be willing to make the most of every day. If you are consistent in your approach to learning, including revision, you’ll feel more prepared when exams come around.
